For new units, the model is named APS-3 V2 and it uses a new GSM modem and the AsteRx2e. The data collector software still identifies the original APS-3 model, and adds the new APS-3 V2 model. All other data collector features are the same. The APS-3 V2 units will ship with serial numbers of format APS-3_20xxx.
